Capstone project focused on developing word embedding model on structured clinical data for pairwise patient similiarity measure and adapting LLM such as Med-BERT for clinical task (Rasmy et al. 2021). Other work includes analyzing readmission for hospital members and assisting data scientists with AI/ML pilots.

Developed NLP models to extract covid-related tweets that will inform culturally relevant and justice centered approaches to health crises impacting the US Black community and pattern-matching system to extract definitions & contexts from scholarly manuscripts to design knowledge maps for researchers

Facilitated in development of fNIRS (optical brain imaging technique) methodology and application, and streamlined data collection and analysis pipeline and conducted neuroimaging data analysis using MATLAB
