I am responsible of the software department, where we implement embedded solutions for automation systems like cranes, reach stackers, boom lifts and other industrial machines. My main tasks are: - project management - management of the team and of their activities - software development of PLC - talent development of young members - support for the preparation of quotes and bids - support for the definition of internal processes

I was responsible of a team in charge of developing a device able to test all the train functions on all types of railway vehicles sold by the company. I implemented TCMS solutions for locomotives for the German market I implemented the European railway signalling systems (ERTMS/ETCS) for the German and British market

I currently work on a project to implement a system able to recognize characters and images on envelopes. I develop and test software in C/C++ to implement the algorithm to recognize images through their shape and color, using MS-Visual Studio in a Windows environment. Previously, I worked as a consultant for Ericsson on a telecommunication embedded system for an optical transport network: I developed in C/C++ and tested the firmware for the middleware level, using Eclipse in a Linux environment.

Client support during their process of product innovation, both in Italy and other countries, through: - Good knowledge of quantitative market research; - Analysis of market data coming from consumers; - Sales forecasts of new products; - Planning and organization of the market research; - Coordination of the stakeholders involved in the market research; - Preparation of power point presentations.

Member of a project management team; the scope was the introduction of new business processes and a new information system: - Monitoring of the project activities - Progress analysis and reporting to senior leaders - Process analysis and documentation - Coordination of people in cross-functional activities, also in different countries - Management of the project issue register - KPIs definition to measure the project success - Focal point during the final simulations before the go-live

Telecommunication embedded system for an access network: - Firmware development in C/C++ of an API level programming the network processor - Management of the interface between the main protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, RSTP, IGMP) and the network processor - Address Resolution Protocol management - VLAN management - Development of the firmware to synchronize master and slave cards - System tests, with field support In the last 4 months: - Execution of system tests of an SDH telecommunication system.
