Responsible for the strategic planning and operations of the Public Center For Technology Transfer E.P.I.Centro, whose mission is to provide innovative solutions for the Ecuadorian society and industry through consulting, skills training and business. Key achievements: Positioning the institution as a local referent for economic consulting, digital innovation, business development and policy advising. Implementation of more than 30 productive projects, and incubation of 15 entrepreneurs and startups.

Analysis and Approvals of the Chief Executive Officer’s proposals regarding the financial, planning, and operational management of a restaurant chain in Quito-Ecuador. Key achievements: ROE of 58%. Successful merge/absorption of one of our main competitors.

Evaluation of public investment projects. Fund negotiation and portfolio review with multilateral organizations. Economic analysis and studies upon request. Counterpart of the Secretariat of the Public-Private Partnerships Committee and the National Productivity Committee. Key achievements: Review of public projects for US$ 350 MM. Development of methodologies for the evaluation of public investment projects. Co-author of the National Development Plan 2017-2021 and the National Innovation Agenda.

Elaboration of studies and researches on Ecuador’s tourism affection on the economy. Elaboration of strategies to increase the inbound tourism and the revenues of the sector. Key achievements: Market strategies that helped to achieve a 14% increase in the revenues of the tourism industry in Ecuador.

Conducted quantitative researches on growth and development related topics for the Ecuadorian economy. Editor of the Ministry’s economic publications. Coordination with different Ministries for the articulation of economic policies. In charge of advising international committees regarding the Ecuadorian economic performance.
