Gretel Quintero Angulo

I am a doctor in Physics graduated from the Institute of Cybernetics, Mathematics and Physics (ICIMAF), Cuba, and the Faculty of Physics of the University of Havana. I am interested in theoretical, nuclear and particle physics, in particular related to astrophysics. For seven years now, my research focuses on modeling matter under astrophysical conditions to provide more precise descriptions of astronomical objects. Currently, I am interesting in: Equations of state of strongly magnetized (dark) matter at zero and finite temperature, quantum magnetic collapse, magnetic field generation; Magnetized compact objects, general relativistic description of non-spherical stars. Besides, I have been involved in the organization of several scientific events and in science divulgation activities, and I count more than ten years of teaching experience at the University of Havana.
