The job profile involved the management of messaging platform as part of overall IT infrastructure operations for a worldwide provider of trenchless technologies for gravity and pressure pipelines. It included the L3 management of Lotus Notes based messaging platform, proactively identify and rectify problems, and conceptualize & implement measures to increase the operational efficiency in close coordination with other ITSM lines viz. Incident Management, Change Management and Service Desk.

Responsibilities involved the security management tasks like User Onboarding/ Offboarding, Lotus Notes Management, Lotus Notes client issues, Group creation and management in NAB, Managing users across various platforms like ‘Novell Netware’, ‘Active Directory’, ‘Citrix’, ‘Mainframe’, ‘Imaging’, and Unix. Also, was responsible to conduct regular security audits on IT systems to ensure adherence to organization policies and get the environment vulnerabilities fixed.

The job profile involved working with customers, both internal and external to support the desktop environment including internet connectivity and operating system issues. I was awarded the ‘Employee of the Year’ award based on the highest CSAT ratings across 2004 and was promoted to be part of the coach and quality team.
