I ensure the diverse voices of Global Press journalists and the people they feature in their stories are heard accurately and palpably. I translate the first drafts of news articles into English, creating essential links between GPJ’s worldwide network of local journalists and their often English-speaking editorial teams. I translate and edit an unusually wide range of documents for Prison Insider, from in-depth, data-driven reports on national prison conditions to journalistic reports on current prison-related events to creative writing collaborations between professional artists and people who have been deprived of their freedom.

I copyedited the English language scholarly articles for Íkala, one of Universidad de Antioquia's academic journals. My name can be found in the credits up to Vol. 25, No. 2, May-August 2020. Other projects for the university included copyediting graduate and undergraduate course materials.
