As an intern (f/m/d) you will support the team in the Financial Accounting & Controlling department significantly by taking on ownerships of intercompany related tasks including communications with stakeholders, preparation of the month-end closing, performing controls and reconciliations.
Your responsibilities:
- You will assist management on the financial side of a portfolio of intra-group contracts and projects
- You will gain interesting insights into the ‘end-to-end’ process for financial transactions in the group
- You will support the team with simplification of current intercompany processes and creation of process flow charts and presentations
- You are involved in the closing process and collaborate with the billing team.
- In addition to these exciting tasks, you will gain insights into the calculation and analysis of intercompany contracts, contract management, accounting and controlling
- Furthermore, you will support the team with ad-hoc tasks
Your profile:
- You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student and have completed at least three semesters
- (Study focus in the field of informatics, mathematics, physics, economics, business studies, humanities, or other relevant fields)
- Ideally, you have already gained first practical experience in the context of at least one internship (e.g. experience abroad, internships) in the finance area
- You are interested in controlling and accounting topics
- Moreover, you are highly motivated, not afraid of challenges and committed to working in a fast-paced environment. You can work independently and take initiatives to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics
- You have very good knowledge of MS Office especially MS Excel (technical: MS Office, SAP, SharePoint)
- Additionally, are fluent in written and spoken English
