I care about our technical products and give direction and advice to the teams, ensure overall technical alignment and quality, as well as the individual growth of the engineering managers and developers.

ioki is a Deutsche Bahn company, focussing on new on demand mobility concepts. Development of a demand responsive transport platform that distributes and optimizes a shuttle fleet in real time. It provides an API interface to driver and passenger apps as well as a comprehensive admin interface.

Leading a fantastic team of four backend and frontend developers, defining and enhancing agile workflows and ensuring high quality software. Developing a scalable web platform using Ruby, Postgres and Golang in the back, JavaScript in the front. Growing team and technology from the first commit to 400k+ users and over 3000 rpm. In charge of company wide technical matters, like technical due diligence for investors.

Development of an interactive JavaScript map client, connected to GIS web services, like routing, geocoding or traffic information. Creation of tutorials and prototypes of new technologies related to the map client and its accompanied web services. Maintenance and enhancement of the official documentation of the map client.
