Organise and develop team of RAN & Traffic engineers

• Organise the day-to-day activity of RAN engineers • Technical support to the RAN, NSS and Radio engineers • Setting up RAN/UTRAN test bed for new HW and SW introduction • Issuing acceptance tests and documents • Establish and optimise RAN/UTRAN architecture (Dimension LAC/RAC, Paging, etc) • Definition of RAN/UTRAN annual budget and roll-out • Short and medium term RAN/UTRAN network evolution prediction • RAN/UTRAN system parametering in order to deliver the best service

• Work Orders issuing related to RAN equipments (Alcatel & Motorola) • Issuing twice a months the RAN Dashboard • Dimensioning of BTSs, BSCs, TCs and PCU’s/MFS interfaces (Abis, Ater, A, Gb) • Perform specific acceptance tests • Sites surveys for new BSC’s • Support for transmission teams in order to choose the best solution for sites and BSC’s

• Coordinating subcontractors activity • Installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of all GSM, SDH, PDH equipment installed in Galati region (COM Galati), maintenance area including 7 districts ( SDH /PDH Transmission sites). • Performing acceptance tests, emergency interventions on site and preventive maintenance on the following type of equipment: BTS Alcatel G2 and G3, BSC’s G2, microwave (PDH and SDH) Alcatel equipment, environment. • Cooperating with the Site Deployment Department

• Developing GSM network with sites including BTS, BSC, Trans PDH, SDH • Support for Radio design • Transmission & Radio survey • Supervision of installation & commissioning Alcatel equipment on sites • Co-ordination and supervising of logistics between suppliers and Orange Romania • GSM (Radio) and Transmission equipment commissioning and acceptance • Support in obtaining administrative permits for suppliers activities • Negotiation contracts for Orange Romania sites
