Led Phase 1 of a regional planning process for the Rupununi Region, with the aim of introducing formalised planning theory and practice into operations and decision-making. Designed planning process, institutional structure, conducted stakeholder consultations and policy analysis, prepared the Draft Strategic Framework and costed Implementation Roadmap. Trained technical staff & consultants on conservation project management and assisted in organisational strategic planning for 2018-2025.

Main assignment was to research the process, methods and tools for conducting ecosystem assessments; measuring, mapping and valuation of ecosystem services and conducting scenario development.
