Led Phase 1 of a regional planning process for the Rupununi Region, with the aim of introducing formalised planning theory and practice into operations and decision-making. Designed planning process, institutional structure, conducted stakeholder consultations and policy analysis, prepared the Draft Strategic Framework and costed Implementation Roadmap. Trained technical staff & consultants on conservation project management and assisted in organisational strategic planning for 2018-2025.

Responsible for defining & designing the scope, content, governance, stakeholder engagement, fundraising mechanisms & process for implementing the sub-global assessment (scenario-planning) of the Raasepori & Hanko Municipalities in SW Finland, as part of the Millennium Ecosystem Assessment Follow-up Programme. Main assignment was to research the process, methods and tools for conducting ecosystem assessments; measuring, mapping and valuation of ecosystem services and conducting scenario development.
