Job Description
We're looking for you – a pragmatic, structured individual with a passion for data architecture and data management. With us, you'll have the opportunity to help shape a data world that not only works, but also makes our entire organization smarter. You'll lay the foundations upon which others build – with plenty of freedom for your own ideas, creativity, and technical expertise.
What you can achieve with us:- You design, develop, implement and operate a central, cloud-based data architecture – including a (cloud) data warehouse.
- To do this, you will analyze our existing data landscape: Where is which data located? How can it be meaningfully integrated?
- You create central data infrastructures and ensure clear data governance – with defined clarity, responsibilities and accountabilities.
- In close cooperation with controlling, you ensure that required data can be found and used.
- You accompany and support the introduction of new software solutions, especially with regard to data storage and integration.
- You are the central contact person for our data management and are responsible for our data strategy – practical, but with a future-oriented perspective.
- Several years of experience as a data architect, data engineer or BI architect – preferably in the software or SaaS environment.
- Completed studies in business information technology or business administration with a focus on data science/analytics
- A deep understanding of data architecture, governance and analytics
- Experience with ETL processes and data modeling – ideally according to Data Vault 2.0
- Experience with modern DWH solutions (Cloud DWH) and ideally with semantic data layers.
- A good understanding of controlling requirements – and the ability to access data sources accordingly
- Understanding how a software company works – from product development to controlling.
- Fluent German (at least C2) and English (at least B2)
- Flexible working hours, approx. 50% - 60% remote work, workation, sabbatical
- U3 childcare including childcare allowance
- Urban Sports Club membership and other health/sports offers, such as bike leasing
- Long-term development prospects with diverse training opportunities
- Varied, healthy and subsidized lunch in our canteen
- Big INFORM summer party, company and team outings and a Christmas party
