We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (f|m|d) Software Development & Deploymenr Infrastructure to join our software team at our headquarters in Aachen as soon as possible.

Activities

• You ensure the operational deployment of our software products and internal tools while keeping everything running smoothly.
• You develop, optimize, and document GitLab CI pipelines for both internal and external projects.
• Your work supports the continuous improvement and maintenance of our self-hosted build server infrastructure.
• You also maintain and further develop our infrastructure for storing and delivering embedded software packages.
• In addition, you contribute to the advancement of other self-hosted DevOps-related services and develop a roadmap and architecture for modern CI/CD principles – including the integration of our specialized hardware in the field.

Requirements

• A degree in computer science, completed IT specialist training, or comparable qualifications.
• Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of shell scripting (POSIX, Bash) is recommended and complements your profile; experience with Ansible is a plus.
• A solid understanding of Linux containers and container-based technologies such as Docker.
• Experience with Linux system administration; knowledge of Debian GNU/Linux as well as hypervisor solutions like VMWare or Proxmox is an advantage.
