We are looking for aDevOps Engineer (m/f/d) Software Development & Deployment Infrastructureto support our software team at our headquarters in Aachen as soon as possible.

What can you expect?

• You will operationally deploy our software products and internal tools and ensure their smooth use.
• In addition, you will develop, optimize and document GitLab CI pipelines for internal and external projects.
• With your work, you continuously drive the further development and maintenance of our self-hosted build server infrastructure.
• Furthermore, you will be responsible for the maintenance and further development of our infrastructure for storing and delivering embedded software packages.
• In addition, you will work on the further development of additional self-hosted DevOps services and develop a roadmap and architecture for modern CI/CD principles – including the integration of our special hardware in the field.

What should you bring?

• You have a completed degree in computer science, training as an IT specialist, or comparable knowledge.
• You have very good Python skills and experience using GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of shell scripting (POSIX, Bash) is recommended and rounds out your profile; experience with Ansible is also an advantage.
• You have a good understanding of Linux containers and container-based technologies such as Docker.
• Furthermore, you have knowledge of Linux system administration; experience with Debian GNU/Linux and hypervisor solutions such as VMware or Proxmox is a plus.
