Job Description: Finance Manager, EMEA Commercial Revenue & Commissions
Responsible for FP&A, business partnering and compliance for EMEA Revenue & Commissions; serve as the Finance Lead for contracting and sales-related matters and as a key business partner to VP EMEA Sales and Commercial Ops leaders.
Supervise and develop a team of 3 analysts (2 Revenue, 1 Commissions), reviewing critical outputs and ensuring high-quality service across the Commercial Finance organization.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Drive and coordinate revenue forecasting cycles (BP, MTP, LTP, NU, JU) and monthly "Latest Thinking” using advanced analytics, KPIs and trend analysis.
Validate and finalize actual submissions, including Walks, Price Variance Reporting and Actuals-to-Plan reconciliations.
Develop revenue metrics, trend analyses and dashboards to support performance insight and growth initiatives.
Lead revenue recognition processes, testing and audits; partner with internal and external auditors and key stakeholders (Customer Service, Field Service, Commercial Ops).
Lead revenue audits and ensure regulatory and reporting compliance for DE01, FR01, UK01 and applicable new markets.
Partner with Reimbursement, Global Marketing and Revenue teams to validate market, launch and pricing assumptions for revenue planning.
Consolidate regional reporting and definitions to ensure consistency and accuracy of EMEA revenue reporting and accounting.
Oversee commission calculation, validation and payout processes; ensure adherence to VC plans, governance and commission tool implementations.
Govern intercompany and cross-charge accuracy where applicable and support remediation of process gaps.
Lead project initiatives to improve & standardize processes, automation and financial compliance; collaborate with Finance IT on system improvements across EMEA and globally.
Promote and support adoption of corporate and MedTech finance initiatives (e.g., Credo actions, SigniFi, TranSCend).
This position will play a pivotal role in reviewing critical outputs / work products across EMEA as well as forging internal collaboration both within and outside of the wider Commercial Finance team to ensure high service delivery.
REQUIRED QUALIFCIATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or related field; MBA, CPA, CMA or other relevant certifications preferred.
Minimum 5 years’ finance and accounting experience, ideally with FP&A, revenue accounting or commercial finance focus.
Strong technical accounting and compliance knowledge (revenue recognition, GAAP, SOX).
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; high proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Workday Adaptive and Salesforce preferred.
Proven analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities; experience developing metrics and analytics to inform decisions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to influence and build trusted relationships at all levels.
Self-starter who can prioritize, manage multiple deliverables and adapt in a fast-changing environment.
Collaborative mindset with strong stakeholder management and inclusion skills across cultures and organizational levels.
Experience leading system standardization, continuous-improvement or commission-tool projects.
Working proficiency in English and German.
Based in Aachen office; up to 5% domestic travel required.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is 78 300 EUR to 118 000 EUR.
