iO Associates are proud to be partnered with FibreCoat, a fast-growing scale-up revolutionising high-performance materials. We're seeking a Financial Controller (m/f/d) to partner closely with leadership and shape the finance function from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and establish a fit-for-purpose controlling and reporting system - no corporate overhead, just what's needed to support agile decision-making.
- Act as a sparring partner to the CFO and Engineering leaders at FibreCoat.
- Lead budgeting processes, set up and manage cost centres, and implement cash flow planning and production cost tracking.
- Take ownership of ERP system (currently Dynamics) - support its redesign and future automation and digitalisation efforts.
- Liaise with production and operations teams to understand key cost drivers and enable financial transparency.
- Coordinate and collaborate with the accounting team (external/internal), helping to shape accounting structure and workflows.
- Drive reporting quality and consistency, prepare management dashboards and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a small or mid-sized company preferred - someone used to working independently on a variety of tasks.
- Strong financial acumen: ability to create budgets, forecasts, cost models, and cash flow plans.
- Hands-on approach and problem-solving mindset - not afraid to roll up sleeves, prioritise, and move fast.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Business-level fluency in both German and English.
