For our client, a company based in Aargau, we are looking for an IT Workplace Engineer for a permanent role.

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the existing Windows Client Engineering team, sharing responsibility for operating and enhancing Windows software distribution.
• Automate the installation and updating of operating systems, drivers, applications, and processes using central management tools and scripts, while continuously improving these systems.
• Manage 2nd and 3rd-level incidents, ensuring sustainable resolution of underlying issues.
• Support the team in operating and maintaining the endpoint security platform, and implementing security-related changes and measures.
• Contribute to project work by designing and managing new Windows-based solutions, and exploring cloud technologies such as Intune.
• Opportunity to take on technical leadership and drive the further development of the service.

Your Profile

• Completed education in computer science (HF/FH) or an equivalent qualification
• Expertise in automation, application packaging, and system administration using configuration management tools.
• Strong knowledge of current PowerShell, Microsoft Windows Client/Server operating systems.
• Experience working with interfaces (REST) is a plus.
• Fluent in both German and English.
