The SKAN laboratory specialises in the production and testing of bioindicators and is an important partner for questions relating to microbiological qualification procedures. As part of the quality control and qualification team, you and your team colleagues will be responsible for the quality control of our bioindicators. Experience in the field of maintenance and qualification of our basic lab equipment would be ideal. A background in microbiology is a great advantage for this position and will help to feel comfortable in your new role.

Responsibilities

• Execution of microbiological quality controls

• Execution of various device qualifications

• Supplier and raw material management

• Working with bacterial cultures (BSL-1)

• Documentation of results in accordance with ISO and GMP guidelines

• Handling of deviations and change controls

• Supporting the organisation of the laboratory and ensuring GMP-compliant workflows

Hardskills

• Completed laboratory degree/education in microbiology, biology or medical bioanalysis, preferably with experience in the field of microbiology

• Work experience in the field of quality control is a big plus

• Basic knowledge of GMP and ISO 9001 is a plus, but not mandatory

• Very good knowledge of German and/or English is required
