Your tasks:
- Deputizing for and supporting the head chef
- operational and technical management of the kitchen team
- Co-responsibility for the planning, production and preparation of meals in the à la carte, banquet and half-board areas
- Ensuring compliance with HACCP guidelines and safety regulations
- Creation of menu and buffet suggestions including costing
- Co-responsibility for the organization of goods orders and checking the use of goods
- Responsibility for the correct receipt and inspection of goods and quality assurance
- Supervision of trainees in the department and induction of new employees and trainees
- Creation of duty rosters and daily staff allocation
Your profile:
- Completed vocational training as a chef
- Several years of professional experience in a similar position and the desire to become a chef
- Enthusiasm, creativity, flexibility and a goal-oriented, conscientious and responsible way of working
- Team spirit, assertiveness and ability to work under pressure
- Sound knowledge of creating recipes and calculations
- A passion for cooking! You also enjoy supporting your team in the kitchen
