We are looking to fill this position for our headquarters in Altenstadt/Hessen as soon as possible:

Team Lead Financial Accounting (m/f/x)

Your responsibilities :

• Managing the financial accounting department
• Preparing quarterly and annual financial statements
• Acting as contact person for tax-related questions (VAT, trade tax, corporate tax)
• Supporting the local accounting departments of our subsidiaries
• Handling insurance-related claims
• Contract management (reviewing contracts, collaborating with legal experts on more complex issues)

Your profile:

• Completed commercial training with further qualification as a certified accountant, or a degree in business administration with a focus on accounting/controlling or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in financial accounting, including leadership experience
• Basic legal knowledge in reviewing contract and insurance-related matters
• An open-minded personality with strong team and communication skills
• A structured and goal-oriented working style
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
