Senior Software Test Engineer (m/f/d)

Your task

• Analysis of customer requirements for testability and derivation of test cases.

• Development and implementation of test plans, test verification criteria, and test procedures for embedded software and systems.

• Development of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) test environments.

• Test automation (e.g., using CANoe, CANalyzer, VCAST, etc.) with common programming languages such as C or Python.

• Continuous development and optimization of test automation.

• Ensuring compliance with automotive standards such as ISO 26262 and ASPICE.

• Reporting and evaluation of test results, contributing to product improvements.

• Close collaboration with customers, development teams, product and quality managers, and production departments to ensure and continuously improve product quality.

Your profile

• Successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, or a comparable qualification.

• Several years of professional experience in software/system testing, including integration and end-to-end testing, as well as test automation.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as CAPL, C, C++, or Python.

• Experience in test execution according to ASPICE/V-Model.

• Experience with HiL test systems or comparable automated test systems such as dSPACE or NI.

• Strong knowledge of interfaces such as CAN, LIN, Modbus, Ethernet, UART, SPI, I2C, etc.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub.

• Knowledge in the field of cybersecurity and penetration testing is an advantage.

• Fluent in German and very good command of English.

• Strong quality awareness, social competence, communication and teamwork skills, as well as flexibility.
