We are looking for a dedicated Head Physician for General and Visceral Surgery (m/f/d) at the Aue-Bad Schlema site at the earliest possible date.

• You will take on a management role in a responsible and varied workplace
• You will manage the further development of the clinic in close cooperation with the other specialist departments and the hospital management
• You will maintain close contact with our referring physicians
• You will support our doctors in further training through guidance and supervision
• You participate in the on-call service

• You are a specialist in general and visceral surgery (m/f/d) and already have several years of specialist professional experience in a management position
• You have the additional qualifications "Special Visceral Surgery" and "Minimally Invasive Surgery" and are familiar with DaVinci technology.
• Ideally, you have special expertise in colorectal, pancreatic and liver surgery
• Commitment and social skills in dealing with patients, colleagues and external partners (m/f/d) are a matter of course for you
• A habilitation is desirable, but not a requirement.
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

The range of services offered by the Clinic for General and Visceral Surgery covers the entire spectrum of visceral surgery with a focus on oncological and colorectal surgery, including proctology, gallbladder, hernia and thyroid surgery. Special emphasis is placed on minimally invasive surgery (MIS) and the use of the Da Vinci robot-assisted surgical system. There is an independent thoracic surgery section and cooperation with the pediatric surgery clinic.
