• You have successfully completed a degree in (industrial) engineering or comparable training or knowledge
• You have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience as a strategic buyer or commodity manager in the automotive or automotive supplier industry
• You have a strong awareness of costs and quality as well as an analytical, conceptual and goal-oriented way of working
• You are characterized by strong communication skills, teamwork skills and assertiveness
• Very good German and English skills, willingness to travel internationally and intercultural competence complete your profile

• In your new position as a Commodity Management Expert (m/f/d), you will develop and implement the purchasing and supplier strategy for our global production sites in a cross-functional team
• Together with the buyers at the production sites, you identify the best suppliers and establish a global purchasing network
• You carry out complex evaluations and analyses (demand, market, cost and supplier analyses)
• You conduct price and contract negotiations in an international environment
• You organize strategic purchasing worldwide for all requirements within the framework of the agreed objectives and independently ensure that objectives are achieved
• You identify and implement cost and price reduction measures
• For new development projects, you will work closely with project purchasing and ensure that supplier nominations are in line with strategy and objectives
• You coordinate and moderate escalations in daily business between suppliers and internal departments
