The Commercial Coordinator supports the commercial team by serving as a critical link between the commercial team, operations, and suppliers to ensure effective execution of commercial activities. This role manages essential coordination, administrative, and analytical tasks that support lead management, pricing negotiations, and supplier communication, enabling Account Managers to focus on strategic, value-added customer engagement. The position provides hands-on exposure to commercial processes and cross-functional collaboration, supporting professional development while contributing to the overall efficiency and performance of the commercial function.

Prospect and develop new business across portfolios Qualify and develop incoming leads
Analyze market conditions to support team in price negotiations
Support Account Managers with administrative functions such as onboarding, PO creation, and claim management
Track supplier performance and support managing backlogs
Support Commercial and Operations teams by assisting with delivery related issues such as non-conforming material and communications with suppliers to reach solutions for time sensitive matters
Assist in planning conferences, special events, and site tours
Your Profile
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2 years of experience in an administrative, coordination, logistics, or sales support role
Metal recycling/smelting knowledge a plus
Clear written and verbal communication
Analytical problem-solving ability
Ability to work cross functionally with commercial, logistics, quality, finance, and customer service teams
Must be willing and physically able to observe and walk in a smelter environment.
Must be willing and physically able to work in varying cold and heat situations.
Could have times that are prolonged periods of walking, standing, and bending.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Ability to travel throughout the facility as required to conduct audits and make observations.
Must wear all required PPE when in protected areas.
Required to reach and grasp with hands and reach with arms.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Willing and physically able to travel domestically and/or internationally if requested.
