We are seeking an enthusiastic IT Intern to support our Information Technology team with day-to-day activities at our manufacturing plant. This internship provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced industrial environment, offering exposure to troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting end-users, and assisting with IT projects that keep our operations running smoothly.
IT Intern
Your Tasks
Provide first-level support to plant employees for IT-related issues, including hardware, software, network, and user account problems.
Respond to help desk tickets, diagnose issues, and resolve or escalate them as appropriate.
Assist in setting up and configuring desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
Support plant employees with software installations, updates, and user training when needed.
Perform routine system checks and maintenance tasks.
Maintain accurate records of IT assets, help desk activities, and issue resolutions.
Support IT team members with special projects such as system upgrades, cybersecurity initiatives, or process improvements.
Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security practices.
Your Profile
Currently pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and networking fundamentals.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to assist non-technical users.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Interest in gaining practical IT experience in a manufacturing environment
