Intern (m/f/d) Design & Quality Enhancement Engineer

Our international and agile team is continually searching for a motivated person to work as an Intern (f/m/d) Design & Quality Enhancement Engineer. Your Tasks

• Knowledge/experience with Siemens NX for CAD modelling
• Knowledge/experience with Siemens Teamcenter for product data management (PLM) is a plus
• Technical drawing and geometric tolerancing standards (ISO GPS / GD&T) knowledge is valuable
• Knowledge/experience in identification and correction of errors in technical drawings is a plus
• Knowledge of manufacturing technologies (3D printing, CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding)
• Experience in cost analysis of components and manufacturing processes is a plus
• Basic knowledge of Python or VB.NET for automating design tasks
• Understanding of NX Open API for process automation and customization
• Ability to develop simple scripts to improve workflow efficiency in NX
• Fluent English oral and written (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
• Italian language knowledge is a plus

Your Qualifications

• Help the team in analyzing and optimizing designs to reduce cost, weight, and complexity while maintaining performance requirements
• Work in the quality of 3D CAD / Drawings and compliance with company standards
• Support design teams in identifying issues and proposing engineering improvements
• Develop and implement basic NX automation scripts to streamline repetitive tasks and improve design efficiency
• Create trade-off documentation for different manufacturing technologies, including a detailed cost analysis to support engineering decisions
• Contact potential suppliers for quotations to support cost evaluations and supplier selection
