Intern (m/f/d) Manufacturing Engineer
Our international and dynamic team is on the lookout for a motivated person to join us in the role of Manufacturing Engineer - Intern in the Vehicle department. Your Tasks
- Assist the team in developing and maintaining engineering documentation through the life cycle of the vehicle
- Participate in design for manufacture (DFM) reviews with all stakeholders from peer designers to management
- Prepare bill of materials (BOM) for input into the procurement process
- Assist with hands-on tasks such as assembly, integration and testing
- Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of manufacturing methods and processes
Your Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a STEM-related field
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, ideally in an aerospace context
- Hands-on experience with tools and equipment in a manufacturing workshop
- Being part of a rocketry student team, formula student or similar is a strong plus
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken (all daily activities are conducted in English)
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and contribute as needed by the team in a collaborative environment
