For temporary employment of 12 months Rocket Factory Augsburg AG in Augsburg is looking for a
Intern (f/m/d) Payload System Engineer- January 2026
Your Tasks
- Handle customer requirements in connection with actual missions
- You will work across all payload-related aspects (technical specs, safety, interface)
- Generation of requirements for the RFA technical teams
- Trans-sectoral coordination of mission activities
Your Qualifications
- Student in space engineering or related topics
- Initial experience in systems engineering
- Knowledge of common standards (like ECSS)
- Structured work style with good analytic skills
- Communication and team skills
- Independent mode of operation in a goal and result-oriented manner
- Fluent oral and written English skills (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
