Linux Integration Engineer (m/f/d) - Augsburg or Bucharest

THE ROLE:

In our Linux department, we integrate software solutions in the cloud/server-based computing environment into our Linux-based IGEL OS. Our developers are responsible for the entire development process from planning to completion and specialize in areas such as software integration, development of clients/tools, customization and much more.

In order to expand further and strengthen our market position, we are seeking motivated developers for our offices in Augsburg, Bremen or Karlsruhe.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Integration, maintenance, and testing of partner software components
• Working on customer support cases in collaboration with our software partner
• Integration of new releases and adding IGEL configuration support for new features
• Maintain servers and unified communication systems on our development and testing infrastructure
• Design and implement automated tests
• Continous releases of IGEL OS partner Apps

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• System administrator skills or developer skills in Linux
• Administration skills in VDI environments
• Ideally knowledge of scripting or programming languages
• Python
• Bash
• C/C++
• Good knowledge of network infrastructures
• Network analysis and debugging skills
• Knowledge of load balancers, proxies, VPN
• Knowledge of certificate management
• Knowledge in authentication methods and identity management
• Skills in issue reproduction and analysis
• Technical communication skills
