Predevelopment Engineer (m/f/d)
Our international and agile team is searching for a motivated person for our pre-development and studies program team. You enjoy working in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment? Your Tasks
- Definition of development roadmaps to mature space technologies and systems
- Deriving mission and technical requirements and systems architectures for RFA’s next generation vehicles
- Perform preliminary design studies and trade offs
- Create preliminary system and subsystem designs for various in-space services
- Manage and/or take part in projects with external stakeholders (e.g. ESA, governmental institutions)
- Communicate effectively between company and these external stakeholders
- Be responsible for generation of deliverables for these projects and coordinate with technical teams to gather information and input
- Contribute to proposal writing for funded projects
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Aerospace or Space Engineering or related discipline
- Work experience in a technical environment, in the space industry is a plus
- You bring technical affinity and you are an enthusiast about New Space
- Business fluent English oral and written (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
- Perfect use of MS Office
- Strong time management, team player attitude and emotional intelligence
- Self-independent, proactive and structured way of working
- Cost and risk awareness and business acumen complete your profile
