Über diesen Job
Your profile
- Experience & Expertise: You hold a degree in a design-related field, have more than 6 years of experience in digital product design, and bring a strong sense of visual excellence — reflected in your interaction patterns, motion work, and the clarity of your hierarchy decisions. You design instinctively within the logic of the web: confident screen typography, thoughtful component thinking, and an appreciation for the subtle UI details that shape a high-quality interface.
- Location: You are based in Augsburg or able to be in our Augsburg office 1–2 times per week to support the design team on site.
- Working Hours: This role is designed for at least 32 hours per week, matching the level of responsibility and impact it carries.
- Teamwork & Communication: You work clearly, empathetically, and with confidence. You can articulate design decisions convincingly — internally and to clients — keep teams aligned, and provide direction even in complex situations.
- Visual Craft & Systems Thinking: You work confidently in Figma and think in modular UI systems, design tokens, and scalable components. You combine aesthetic sensitivity with structural thinking, creating digital designs with contemporary interaction patterns. You stay curious about trends and use new methods consciously and purposefully.
- Diversity: You’re eager to bring your own strengths and new perspectives into the team.
- Languages: You speak German and English fluently.
Your responsibilities
- You lead projects from initial concept to rollout, taking strong visual ownership while collaborating closely with designers, developers, stakeholders, and product owners.
- You translate requirements into clear user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that make complex scenarios understandable and actionable.
- In Figma, you build scalable UI systems with well-structured components, states, and breakpoints, integrate A11y naturally, and ensure visual excellence down to the smallest detail.
- You make sure design and development work with a shared vocabulary, facilitate handoffs and reviews, structure feedback loops, and drive a tight design–dev integration.
- You facilitate workshops and presentations, articulate design decisions clearly and solution-oriented, and keep teams aligned even in challenging phases.
- You share your knowledge, support colleagues, introduce methodological impulses, and represent Peerigon confidently in client meetings, demos, and community settings.
Your benefits
- No more waterfall and project juggling. Peerigon projects are agile with sprint plannings, weeklies, retros, and everything that goes with it. From the first idea to the testing of the prototypes, everything happens in close teamwork and at eye level with developers, stakeholders, and product owners.
- Truly flexible working time model instead of trust-based working time (where employees actually often work more than they should). No overtime falls under the carpet. You use them up whenever.
- Challenging projects (and gladly those that create meaning ).
- Good and fair salaries and transparent contracts without gender pay gap .
- We walk the talk where many only talk about New Work. Good team culture is a top priority at Peerigon. Look forward to a dynamic work environment where you can contribute at any time and your ideas are valued.
- Start out in our Augsburg headquarters and work later on: from home, in Hamburg, Amsterdam, or Canada.
- Choose Your Own Device: Use your Macbook for business as well as for pleasure.
- You’ll begin your role primarily on-site at our Augsburg office. Once we’ve established a good rhythm together, you’ll work flexibly, remotely or on-site, with the option for workation by arrangement.
- We value a lived work-life integration for the interest and family-friendly arrangement of your working hours. In addition 30+2 vacation days, full parental leave , and openness for sabbaticals.
- Weekly move & mind budget on work time.
- Our work environment always brings something new: we offer you a generous annual training budget for conferences, workshops, meetups, and tech talks at home and abroad, as well as regular internal team training.
- JobRad: bike leasing with discounted conditions including insurance.
- If you like, share your knowledge at conferences, meetups, in blog articles and workshops .
- Actively shape your work environment and Peerigon as a company - we live participation .
- Beyond your project, use e.g. strategy days, birthday outings, hut excursions and social matching to network with your colleagues. You are welcome here.
