What it's about
In this position, you have the opportunity to play an important role in Partners Group's Capital Markets team, responsible for all debt financing-related aspects of Partners Group's Private Equity and Private Infrastructure investments globally, across their life cycle.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Structure and negotiate debt financings for new buyouts / investments, incremental capital raises, recapitalizations, amendment & extensions, repricing and refinancings of portfolio companies / assets across Partners Group’s Private Equity and Private Infrastructure businesses
- Serve as an important markets and capital structure advisor to investment and management teams including with respect to exit processes
- Maintain and expand relationships with banks, institutional investors, legal counsel, and other market participants
- Proactively generate value enhancing financing ideas for existing investments
- Structure and negotiate financing related hedging
- Originate investment opportunities from your network
For this unique opportunity, we need a person who works well in a global organization and is a self-starter with strong interpersonal, communication and execution skills.
Successful candidates should have the following profile:
- 7-10 years of leveraged finance/capital markets and/or infrastructure finance experience at a leading financial institution or currently in a Capital Markets role at an asset manager
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
- Strong project management skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven track record in structuring, negotiating, and executing debt financings in a lead-left capacity (underwritten and best efforts), including loans and bonds
- Excellent understanding of capital markets and debt products including detailed understanding of execution processes (constituents, legal and marketing documents, etc.)
- Strong understanding and negotiating experience of loan and bond documentation
- Team worker with self-drive and a strong attention to detail as well as desire to contribute and make a difference
