What it's about

To extend our growing European private Infrastructure team, we are looking for an Investment Leader to support the expansion of our platform with a focus on transaction origination, execution and asset management, with a strong emphasis on developing the team around them and contributing to the overall success of the Infrastructure platform. The role is either in London or in Zug.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Investment Leadership:

  • Proven responsibility executing and managing end-to-end private infrastructure investments, from origination to closing, and exits.
  • Strong track record leading mid-sized investment teams, with accountability for junior team development, internal workstream coordination, and pacing execution.
  • Effective stakeholder manager, engaging Investment Committee members, Limited Partners, co-investors, and advisors as required throughout the investment lifecycle.

Excellence in Execution:

  • Deep analytical foundations across investment due diligence, structuring, and financial modelling.
  • Ability to develop and present robust investment theses, aligned with return expectations and risk appetite, with successful experience preparing and presenting to Investment Committees.
  • A goal-oriented mindset with a hands-on attitude and "get it done” behaviour.

Origination:

  • Demonstrated ability to originate and source opportunities within European private infrastructure, particularly across sectors such as Energy and Power, Digital and Telecoms, Transport, and Social
  • Strong connectivity across advisors, intermediaries, banks, and senior advisors within the infrastructure ecosystem.

Value Creation:

  • Track record of contributing to portfolio growth initiatives, operational excellence, capital structure optimisation, and strategic positioning.
  • Experience serving as a board member or observer, actively contributing to governance, oversight, and value creation strategies.

What we expect

For this position, we are looking for a person who works well in an entrepreneurial organization, someone who is a self-starter and possesses strong networking and project management skills, as well as demonstrated investment and team leadership experience. The successful candidate should have the following profile:

  • An experienced investor with 8+ years of infrastructure and/ or private equity investment experience with a focus on "core plus"/ "value add”, with a leading investment manager, corporate or advisory firm.
  • Proven investment execution and value creation track record, demonstrating the ability to deliver successful outcomes across origination, execution, and portfolio management.
  • Down-to-earth and approachable professional, with a thoughtful approach to mentoring junior team members.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and commercial acumen, with the drive to contribute to the success of the broader platform as well as portfolio companies.
  • Strong connectivity in the marketplace, with a strong network of advisory, banking, and senior advisors.
  • Leadership and relationship management skills to gain internal sponsorship, align stakeholders, and deliver successful investment programs.
  • Excellent analytical, financial modelling, interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with team members from different geographies.
  • Top academic credentials, ideally with a background in business administration, finance, economics, engineering, or related disciplines.
  • English essential; additional European language(s) a strong plus.
