Strategic Sourcing Associate (m/w/d)

Your Responsibilities

Sourcing Duties

• Drive the implementation and development of global and regional category strategies within the ASG Hub
• Lead complex supplier negotiations and contract development in line with company policies
• Manage sourcing and tendering processes via Ariba, acting as the escalation point for supplier performance issues
• Develop and maintain performance transparency tools such as scorecards, KPIs, and order profiles
• Monitor market trends and benchmarks to identify innovation opportunities and anticipate changes
• Control and approve purchase orders (POs) in compliance with procurement guidelines
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient and strategic supplier management

P2P Duties

• Handle invoice account assignments, especially for complex invoices (e.g., events).
• Serve as the primary contact for service center inquiries on invoice assignments.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
• Commercial training or further education in finance, accounting, or taxation (e.g., certified accountant)
• +3 years of experience in Sourcing
• Analytical mindset & project management skills, with proficiency in Excel and SAP
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities in international, cross-functional teams
• Solution-oriented approach with leadership potential and a drive to grow
• Fluent in German and English; proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and SAP S4-HANA (FI and MM)
