M&A Intern – Biomethane Acquisitions (f/m/d)

Are you passionate about energy transition and eager to gain hands-on experience in M&A processes? Join us as an M&A Intern and support our biomethane acquisition activities. This 6-month internship offers an exciting opportunity to work on live transactions and market assessments in a fast-growing sector.

What you will do:

• Assist the acquisition project manager with day-to-day project management tasks, including preparing presentations, coordinating workstreams, and synthesizing complex information

• Conduct market screening analyses and market studies to identify opportunities

• Support the senior investment manager in financial analysis and valuation work

• Develop and enhance standardized tools and frameworks for project execution

• Participate in internal and selected external meetings to gain exposure to transaction processes

What you bring & who you are:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field

• Proficient in Excel; experience with financial modeling and DCF analysis is a strong plus

• Structured and independent working style with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Genuine interest in the energy transition and sustainability-focused investments

• Highly motivated, curious, and eager to learn

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
