What you will do:

• Support the Flex-Pooling Analytics team in developing and maintaining software for optimizing flexible assets in multiple countries
• Implement requirements in clean, modular, and testable code; conduct code reviews and documentation
• Assist in building and operating CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps) and MLOps workflows to ensure smooth releases
• Build and maintain data pipelines (ETL), connect data sources/APIs, and work with SQL and cloud services
• Develop algorithms and machine learning models for price forecasting to support bid optimization in European markets
• Create technical notebooks/reports and present results to internal stakeholders

What you bring & who you are:

• University degree in natural sciences or engineering with a strong IT focus
• Strong Python skills (clean, testable code; Git/code reviews)
• Experience with CI/CD (e.g., Azure DevOps)
• Basic knowledge of data engineering/ETL, SQL, databases, and APIs
• Ideally, experience in optimization solutions, machine learning (kedro framework), and big data analytics
• Knowledge of European power and flexibility markets is a plus
• Open-minded and curious, with an analytical and systematic approach
• Team-oriented and strong communicator
• Excellent English skills; German is a plus
