Group Purchasing and Supply Chain Manager (m/f/d)
What's in store for you?
- Management and further development of the global purchasing team, consisting of several category managers.
- Responsibility for the strategic orientation and implementation of Group Purchasing and the entire supply chain management.
- Development and implementation of purchasing strategies that focus on cost efficiency, quality and delivery reliability.
- Analysis and optimization of supplier relationships and negotiation of contracts and prices.
- Ensuring an efficient and trouble-free flow of materials across all production sites.
- Close cooperation with internal departments such as production, logistics and quality management to ensure material availability and adherence to production plans.
- Implementation of best practices and modern supply chain solutions for the continuous improvement of processes.
- Management and development of category managers, including regular feedback meetings, training and performance management.
- Responsibility for compliance with quality standards and legal regulations in international purchasing.
What should you bring with you?
- Degree in business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in purchasing and supply chain management, ideally in an internationally operating mechanical engineering company.
- Leadership experience and the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Sound knowledge in the areas of strategic purchasing, negotiation and supply chain optimization.
- Very good analytical skills as well as a proactive and solution-oriented way of working.
- Business fluent in written and spoken English; further foreign language skills are an advantage.
- Confident handling of ERP systems and common purchasing software.
