Your tasks:

• You will be part of our agile platform engineering team , consisting of Scrum Master, Product Owner and 4 DevOps.
• You will take over the further development of our self-developed shop platform infrastructure with focus on scaling and stability.
• You share responsibility for our systems and processes in live operations by monitoring SLAs, response times, latencies and resource usage.
• Just like your team members, you always want to stay up-to-date and therefore keep yourself informed about current trends.
• You have a 24/7 on-call duty (approx. 1x per month) in rotation with the other DevOps.

What you bring along:

• • You are well-versed in the use of cloud services , Kubernetes , IaC ( Terraform ), CI , and automation .
• You have extensive experience with distributed, modern architectures ( microservices ), monitoring (e.g., Prometheus / Google Cloud Operations Suite), GitOps (Flux), and tracing (OpenTelemetry).
• You have in-depth Linux knowledge and experience operating web applications .
• You have fundamental software development skills (especially Java, Node.js, Go, Next.js, GraphQL) and ideally have already gained experience with Istio and traefik .
• You enjoy taking on responsibility , demonstrate ownership of the infrastructure of our Commerce Suite, communicate clearly and understandably with your colleagues, and act as an enabler for other teams.
• You speak German and English at least at a B2 level.
• You have a certain penchant for sarcasm , but are still professional when it matters.
• You currently live in Germany .
