The Chairman’s Office Europe and North Africa (COE) is supporting and coordinating our operating units, R&D centres, and representative offices across Europe and North Africa with corporate functions and services. • Provide strategic corporate law advice to the Management.

• Draft, analyze and review corporate governance related contracts and corporate secretarial matters for 120+ companies in 25 countries.

• Monitor and interpret developments in company law and regulations, in local jurisdictions, at EU and international levels and provide strategic recommendations on necessary actions or changes.

• Support in Group Financing projects and in cross-border Tax projects.

• Coordinate and manage country-specific company law topics with external lawyers ensuring cost effective and efficient legal solutions.

• Ensure the companies in our region to comply with the subsidiaries’ obligations deriving from the listed status in India of the ultimate parent company.

• Maintain the authorization matrix database as well as the corporate database and ensure companies processes and procedures adhere to government regulations and laws.

• Fulfil and manage the KYC / UBO requirements and procedures in collaboration with Global Finance Teams.

• Lead the creation and implementation of legal policies and standard operating processes. 

• Timely manage the various reporting flows to the shareholders.

• Fully qualified lawyer.

• Deep knowledge in corporate law in EU. Familiar with local, international corporate laws and company law as well as regulations.

• Extensive experience in a similar role for several years.

• Experienced in an international working environment. Ability to establish and maintain good working relations within a multicultural environment.

• Strong team spirit, flexibility, ability to work under pressure.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

• Fluent English and proficiency in another EU language is a plus.
