The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the implementation and integration of Sandoz financial reporting systems and tools in alignment with global standards and processes. Acting as a key business partner to the Head of Finance at the site, IT, and the Global Finance STO (Sandoz Technical Operations) team, the role drives value creation, manages risks and costs, supports planning cycles, and ensures the highest level of financial compliance.
Success will be achieved through close collaboration with Global Operations Finance teams, including STO, Development, and FRA Operations, ensuring seamless connectivity between site-level activities and global reporting and planning frameworks.
Major accountabilities:
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis
Lead the monitoring and analysis of site financial performance, including key KPIs, and proactively identify risks and opportunities to support strategic decision-making.
Integration Leadership
Drive the smooth integration of financial systems, processes, and teams, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and delivering robust reporting and modeling for combined entities.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Long-Term Planning
Own and oversee the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning, ensuring alignment with global standards and STO objectives.
Advanced Financial Modeling
Design and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and scenario planning for both site and global stakeholders.
Global Reporting & Insights
Develop, consolidate, and present high-quality financial reports and dashboards to Global Finance STO and the Large Molecules Platform, ensuring transparency and actionable insights.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure adherence to Sandoz financial compliance standards and governance frameworks. Act as a senior liaison for site and global finance in managing relationships with external auditors and key stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements:
What you’ll bring to the role:
University Degree in Economics / Business Administration / Engineering; MBA desirable
Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken) is essential
>7 years experience in FP&A and/or controlling in a manufacturing environment
Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing is desirable
Experience in leadership roles advantageous
