An exciting opportunity is available at our location in Reinach near Basel, Switzerland, as part of a succession plan.

In this dynamic and broad-ranging role, you will be responsible for the global purchasing strategy, supplier selection, international procurement processes, and for ensuring an efficient and sustainable supply chain.

Which tasks await you?

• Develop and implement a global purchasing strategy in line with the corporate strategy
• Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships worldwide
• Negotiate and conclude framework agreements with international suppliers
• Manage and optimize global procurement processes
• Ensure compliance, sustainability, and risk management across the supply chain
• Lead and develop the global procurement team
• Monitor relevant KPIs and report to management
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (development, product management, quality, production, logistics)

What you need to succeed:

• A relevant degree in business or technical studies (e.g. Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field)
• Strong technical affinity, particularly in high-performance plastics
• Several years of strategic purchasing experience, ideally in an international environment
• Leadership experience in decentralized teams
• Fluency in German and English; other languages are a plus
• Strong analytical, strategic, and project management skills, with experience in digital purchasing systems
• Willingness to travel intercontinentally on a regular basis
• Proven negotiation skills and the ability to build strong partnerships
• A solution-oriented mindset and strong analytical capabilities
