Your responsibility
- Further development and updating of the underwriting governance framework in close collaboration with the Group Chief Underwriting Officer
- Promoting the exchange of experience within the group, including organizing and conducting underwriting workshops and training courses
- Planning and conducting Technical Underwriting Reviews in the market units
- Regular exchange with local underwriting managers and specialists and other group functions
- Supporting market units in the further development of underwriting standards and processes
- Processing referral cases for the Group Underwriting Committee
- Observing trends and innovations in underwriting
Your qualification
- Many years of experience as senior underwriter in direct Non-Life insurance (retail or commercial property)
- Experienced in underwriting governance and portfolio management topics
- Strong leadership personality with experience in functional and/or line management
- Enjoy working in an international environment and experienced in the interaction between group functions and market units
- Team Player with a strong results-orientated mindset
- Seniority and confidence in appearance, convincing communication skills, and experience in stakeholder management
- Fluent in English and good knowledge in German, Spanish or French
- Willingness to travel within Europe up to 25%
