Proclinical is seeking a Lab Associate to join a dynamic team focusing on Cellular Functional & Soluble Biomarkers. In this role, you will focus on designing, developing, and implementing biomarker assays to support clinical trials. This position requires a proactive approach to assay development, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and a commitment to delivering high-quality data.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and transfer biomarker assays for clinical trial support.
• Lead in-house assay development and oversee method transfers to external CRO partners.
• Plan, troubleshoot, and critically analyze results of analytical methods for cellular and protein biomarkers.
• Execute experimental protocols, analyze data, and deliver comprehensive reports aligned with project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and GxP requirements throughout the assay lifecycle.
• Introduce and evaluate novel technologies to enhance biomarker strategies.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure data integrity and resolve technical challenges.
• Present findings and updates in internal and external meetings.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
• Proven experience in biomarker assay development within a regulated environment.
• Proficiency in biomarker assay technologies, including:
• Cellular and functional assays (e.g., flow cytometry, ELISpot, HTRF).
• Ligand-binding assays (e.g., ELISA, MSD, Simoa).
• Hands-on experience in technology implementation, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of GxP principles.
• Experience supporting pharmacodynamic biomarker assay development for preclinical or clinical applications.
• Demonstrated scientific credibility through publications or presentations.
• A proactive team player with a growth mindset and a focus on collaboration and continuous learning.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, and agile environment.
