Laborant:in Analytik (m/w/d) - Raum Basel

The Investigational Medicinal Product QC (IMP QC) department is part of Synthetic Molecule Development at the Basel site. It supports the technical development of synthetic molecules – from classic New Chemical Entities (NCEs) to peptides and oligonucleotides – as well as the related drug products.
Within IMP QC, the Drug Substance team plays a key role. As a Laboratory Technician Analytics , you will contribute significantly to the quality control of raw materials, intermediates, and active ingredients through precise GMP analyses, ensuring the safety of clinical products.

The ideal candidate:
You have completed training as a chemical laboratory technician (EFZ, CTA, or BTA) and bring at least 2–3 years of experience in analytics (HPLC, GC, titration, IR, UV, and wet chemical methods). Ideally, you are familiar with Agilent HPLC systems and EMPOWER software, and have experience working with GMP guidelines in a laboratory environment. A hands-on mentality and knowledge of LIMS systems are a plus.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Independently perform and document chemical analyses using various methods in compliance with GMP

• Review raw data

• Document results on PC in accordance with GMP standards and support the handling and documentation of deviations

• Ensure data integrity within your area of responsibility

Must Haves:

• Completed training as a chemical laboratory technician (preferred), CTA, or higher

• At least 2–3 years of experience in analytical methods (HPLC, GC, titration, IR, UV, wet chemical analysis); ideally with Agilent HPLC systems and EMPOWER software

• Proven GMP experience in a laboratory setting, LIMS experience is an advantage

• Fluent English (written and spoken); German is an asset

• Strong team spirit, adaptability, logical thinking, and affinity for lab IT applications
