Über diesen Job
Surgical Outcome Research Center
The postdoctoral researcher will mainly supervise and implement tasks of a research project entitled: "Evidence-based definition and classification of the etiology of rotator cuff tears in Switzerland”. The project will be conducted in particular under the direction of Prof. Andreas Marc Müller (Chief Physician, Orthopaedics and Traumatology) and the Surgical Outcome Research Center (SORC) (headed by Prof. Laurent Audigé). The research project aims to close the knowledge and interpretation gaps between the stakeholders by developing an evidence-based, transparent and standardized approach to define and classify the etiology of rotator cuff tears. The postdoctoral researcher, supported by a PhD student (to be recruited), SORC staff and project partners will lead three work packages (WP): A systematic review and Delphi survey to define the aetiology of rotator cuff tear and a list of diagnostic factors (WP1), an evaluation of the results of WP1 using the Swiss National Science Foundation ARCR_Pred study (WP2), and the development of a protocol for a prospective cohort study in primary care (WP3).
