Quality Assurance Manager (m/f/d)

Contract end date: September 2026/may be extended

Responsibilities:

• Central contact person for the production companies in all quality issues, from production from raw material release to validations.
• Ensuring quality oversight and GMP compliance in the supervised productions and projects.
• Review, assess and approve manufacturing documentation, both on paper and in the electronic Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
• Responsibility for the release of manufactured active ingredients.
• Process, assess, and approve deviations, corrective actions (CAPAs), and technical change requests.
• Carry out quality inspections (Q floor walks) as well as self-inspections and support internal audits and inspections by the authorities.
• Active contribution of ideas for the continuous improvement of processes and support in the implementation of them.

Requirements:

• Completed university degree in a scientific or engineering field (e.g. biology, chemistry, pharmacy, biotechnology)
• At least 3-5 years of professional experience in the field of quality assurance or GMP compliance, in the production of biotechnological active ingredients
• Min. 3 years of experience in a GMP regulated working environment
• Fluent communication in German and English (spoken and written)
• Experienced in dealing with common IT systems in the pharmaceutical industry
