Engineer for HVDC System Design (f/m/d) – Grid Engineering Academy
A Snapshot of Your Day
In the System Design, our investigations lay the theoretical foundation for HVDC systems and create technically optimized solutions for our customers to address the challenges of the energy transition. The daily work is very varied, as no HVDC project is like the other. Conducting detailed design calculations using analytical or simulation methods is just as much a part of the daily tasks as collaborating and coordinating with other teams within Siemens Energy to achieve the best solution for our customers. Furthermore, we present the results of our design studies to our customers and, if necessary, verify them through appropriate measurements and tests. Additionally, there is the opportunity to advance and shape cross-team collaboration within the HVDC area through training, workshops, continuous improvement, or digitalization Are you a recent graduate or an early career professional eager to make a significant impact in the energy sector?
