Join our Corporate Strategy & Sustainability Team as an intern in Salzburg, Austria (full time, for 6 months) and contribute to shaping the future of sustainability at PALFINGER. As part of our Sustainability Management function, you will work closely with PALFINGER leadership to implement and evolve our Group Sustainability Strategy. We drive cross-functional collaboration and provide deep subject matter expertise to steer the organization’s sustainability efforts.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support strategic initiatives in key sustainability areas such as Climate Action, Circular Economy, and Human Rights
- Contribute to the enhancement and development of the Sustainability Roadmap, guiding strategic priorities
- Collaborate with various departments (Legal, HR, Finance, Engineering, Procurement, Sales) to support corporate strategy projects
- Create compelling content for internal and external sustainability communications and training materials
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and trend analysis focused on sustainability best practices
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Ongoing or completed university studies (Bachelor’s or Master’s level)
- Solid understanding of sustainability topics (e.g., SBTi, Climate Strategy, Circular Economy, Human Rights)
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent command of English
- Structured, organized and proactive working style

This position pays a gross monthly salary of EUR 1.911,00 on a full-time basis, taking into account the collective agreement for the metal industry.
