As a Specialist for External Corporate Communication at PALFINGER, you will shape and deliver strategic messaging that enhances our brand reputation and visibility across regional markets. You’ll translate global communication strategies into impactful local initiatives, working closely with internal stakeholders and media partners. This role requires a seasoned communicator with strong editorial skills and a strategic mindset.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute regional corporate communication plans aligned with PALFINGER’s Strategy 2030 and global messaging.
- Coordinate press and media outreach, including drafting press releases, organizing public events, and supporting executive communication.
- Ensure consistent and effective messaging across all external corporate communication channels.
- Monitor media coverage and public sentiment, providing strategic insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Support crisis communication and maintain strong relationships with journalists, agencies, and external stakeholders.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field, with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
- Proven expertise in corporate communication strategy, media relations, and crisis management.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to present complex content clearly and compellingly.
- High level of initiative, integrity, and discretion, with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Fluent in English and German, with solid project management capabilities and experience working in cross-functional teams.

Minimum yearly gross salary according to the Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 52.197,04 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conforming overpayment.
