Currently, we are searching for our client in the Bergisch Gladbach area, for a
Technical Documentation Specialist / Technical Writer (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities:

• Update, create, and manage technical documents such as operating manuals, user guides, and technical descriptions using the Schema ST4 content management system.

• Prepare and edit documents and spreadsheets using MS Office (Word, Excel).

• Create and edit drawings and images using Photoshop, Illustrator, or Affinity.

• Develop and maintain software manuals, including creating screenshots.

• Oversee and process documentation tasks (creating and maintaining orders, data backup, filing, etc.).

• Support external documentation service providers.

• Coordinate translation tasks and process the results.

• Review and ensure the accuracy of document structures and content.

• Conduct research (internal/external) and prepare technical data.

• Print, bind, and prepare documents for manufacturing or shipping.

• Completed vocational training in electrical engineering.

• Proficient in MS Office applications.

• Interest in writing technical texts and strong language skills.

• fluent German language skills and solid knowledge of English, both written and spoken.

• A detail-oriented and structured approach to work.

• Strong communication and team-oriented personality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with content management systems, ideally Schema ST4.

• Expertise in technical documentation or a related field.

• Basic skills in graphic editing (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Affinity).

• Familiarity with relevant standards in technical documentation.
