Our Investment, Accounting, and Reporting Solutions division operates on a global scale, with offices strategically located in the Germany, UK, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, and Poland. As a Senior Accountant, you will collaborate with a committed team to ensure that our reporting services align with client expectations and industry standards.

About the Role:

• Oversee the review and preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Provide technical leadership to the accounting team, including mentoring and developing junior staff.
• Manage and delegate tasks within a small team of accountants, ensuring deadlines are met and accuracy is maintained.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
• Prepare monthly financial statements for the internal controlling team.
• Assist in the preparation of the cash flow forecast.
• Reconcile intercompany loans and balances with all stakeholders.
• Oversee daily treasury, cash management, and accounting operations for the portfolio.
• Perform account reconciliations, post journal entries, and ensure accurate transaction recording within the accounting system.
• Collaborate with banks and financial institutions on financing arrangements and loan execution.
• Manage and maintain the reporting system (Yardi).
• Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors and address internal and external client inquiries, providing excellent customer service.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Initial professional experience in accounting or tax consulting; experience in a real estate company is an advantage.
• Sound knowledge of German accounting principles according to HGB and tax law.
• Very good German and English skills.
